Conte is one of the best
Harry Kane has urged his Tottenham team-mates to make the most of playing under Antonio Conte.
Spurs remain firmly in the race for a top-four finish after sealing a last-gasp victory at Leicester earlier this week.
And Kane is keen to keep the momentum going against third-placed Chelsea on Sunday, when Conte faces his former employers for the third time this month.
Speaking exclusively to Sky Sports, the England skipper, 28, said: “We’ve not really reached the heights we’ve wanted to as a club over the last couple of years.
“It’s a big opportunity now to take advantage of what we’ve got. He [Conte] is one of the best managers in the world.
“He’s a manager that demands a lot. He’s doing everything he can and as players we’ve responded really well to him and everyone’s working as hard as possible to get success.
“That’s the ultimate goal for everyone here at the club.”
Lack of discipline concerns Arteta
Mikel Arteta is concerned by Arsenal’s lack of discipline on the pitch.
The Gunners finished with 10 men once again last night as Liverpool beat them 2-0 to progress to the Carabao Cup final.
Granit Xhaka saw red in the first leg of the semi-final, which finished goalless at Anfield, and Thomas Partey followed suit at the Emirates by picking up two yellow cards in three minutes shortly after climbing off the bench.
His dismissal was Arsenal’s 14th in barely two years since Arteta took the reins — and the Spaniard has had enough of seeing his players lose their heads.
The Gunners boss said: “We’ve played the last three games with 10 men. At this level, that’s extremely difficult to win football matches.”
Partey, who had made it back from the Africa Cup of Nations in time to be on the bench, added: “I should be more intelligent not to get in a challenge already booked but this is my personality. I like to fight for every ball.
“I came back with the mentality to make myself available for the team to get to the final but it did not happen as planned.”
Ivory Coast set for Wembley
England will face Ivory Coast in a friendly at Wembley on March 29.
The Ivorians are ranked 56th in the world and are through to the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations having knocked out holders Algeria yesterday.
