Bournemouth responded to Scott Parker’s sacking by holding out for a goalless draw against Wolves at the Vitality stadium.
Gary O’Neil was put in charge of the match as caretaker manager and while the Cherries did ride their luck, conceding a lot of possession and chances, they held out for a valuable point.
Wolves will be disappointed to leave the south coast without maximum points, as Raul Jimenez and Daniel Podence had glorious chances to break the deadlock in the second half.
The point leaves both in sorry positions, with Wolves sitting in the relegation zone and Bournemouth not far above in 16th.
