Real Madrid will not chase Kylian Mbappe again next summer if he has no intention of leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spanish giants have been desperate to bring the French superstar to the Bernabeu in recent transfer windows.
Mbappe, 23, was expected to join Real in the summer on a mammoth contract, only to unexpectedly announce he was staying at PSG in May.
That left Bernabeu chiefs disappointed and LaLiga chief Javier Tebas threatened legal action against the French champions over the “scandalous” deal which attacked “the economic sustainability of European football”.
And Marca say Los Blancos will not keep up their pursuit in order to focus on landing players they know want to play for them.
Barca eye Jorginho
Barcelona are keen to sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho on a free transfer next summer, say The Mirror.
The Italian only has 10 months remaining on his deal at Stamford Bridge and Barca view him as a perfect replacement for Sergio Busquets.
Jorginho, 30, joined the Blues from Napoli for £57million in 2018 and has been a key player since then, making 196 appearances in all competitions.
But he was linked with an exit ahead of the current campaign and a move to the Camp Nou could be too good to turn down.
