Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has signed a two-year contract extension with the Premier League champions.
The Catalan tactician, 51, has been in charge at the Etihad since 2016 and has won nine major trophies during his reign to date, including four league titles.
Guardiola’s deal was due to expire at the end of the current campaign but talks over fresh terms had been ongoing for some time.
City sit second in the Premier League table, five points behind leaders Arsenal, and will resume their title defence after the World Cup at Leeds on December 28.
