Juventus are reportedly ready to ditch World Cup winner Paul Pogba.
The France international, 29, has not made a single appearance for the fallen Italian giants since returning from Manchester United last summer.
He was on the bench last weekend after recovering from a knee injury but boss Max Allegri has revealed Pogba may have to wait even longer for his second debut in Turin after suffering a setback.
And Juve, who were docked 15 points last month for false accounting, are now ready to sell him or tear up his contract, according to the Daily Mail.
Moving on
MIdfielder Rachel Furness has left Women’s Super League side Liverpool by mutual consent.
The Northern Ireland international, 34, spent three seasons at the club after joining from Reading in 2019, scoring 19 goals in 64 appearances.
But she is now looking for a new club as a free agent, with the BBC claiming Women’s Championship side Bristol City are ready to swoop.
Liverpool boss Matt Beard said: “It’s always tough when you lose senior players. She’s a fantastic person and has been a great servant for the football club and we’re going to miss her.
“There were a lot of clubs who were interested. There was a role here for her but at the end of the day the opportunity arose for her to probably get regular football and I think she went down the path that was best for her.”
