Although Chelsea have been stingy at the back, scoring goals still remains an issue which was highlighted in the midweek Champions League defeat at Borussia Dortmund.
Potter’s men had 21 shots on target against the German outfit but failed to find the net, with Kai Havertz once again asked to lead the line.
The Blues have had 12 shots in their last two Premier League games and scored just one goal in 180 minutes.
Saints have also struggled to find the net on a consistent basis and have also been leaky at the back, with just one clean sheet in 22 league games to date and conceding nine goals in their last four Premier League away games.
Bet 3: Over 9 corners in the match for both teams combined
Chelsea are currently seventh in the standings for Premier League corners this season, with Potter’s men averaging 5.5 per game.
In recent games, the set-pieces have been racking up. Chelsea won 10 corners at Dortmund on Wednesday and have also collected six in each of their last two league games.
Southampton won five corners in their defeat at home to Wolves last weekend and four in the previous game, a 3-0 defeat at Brentford.

The contrast in form between Brentford and Crystal Palace is stark, with the hosts looking to extend their unbeaten run to 11 league matches.
Meanwhile, Palace have failed to win any of their last six games in the league and have slipped to 12th in the standings.
Thomas Frank’s men have kept clean sheets in their previous two home games, while the visitors have failed to score in two of their last four away days.

Crystal Palace currently sit third in the Premier League yellow card standings, picking up 52 cautions in their 22 matches.
Tyrick Mitchell has received four yellows to date, including cards in the last two league games against Manchester United and Brighton.

Both Brentford and Palace are in the top 10 for set-piece goals this season, with the Bees scoring nine compared to the Eagles’ eight.
The host’s game at Arsenal last weekend led to 11 corners at the Emirates, while there were eight in total in their recent win over Southampton.
Palace have averaged 4.27 corners per game this term, so over five between the two teams looks like a distinct possibility on Saturday.
