Ben Chilwell has vowed to get Chelsea back to the top of English football after penning a contract extension at Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old has extended his current deal by a further two years, meaning he will remain with the Blues until the summer of 2027.
Having been blighted by injuries in recent campaigns, Chilwell has featured 26 times during what has been a rocky season in West London.
But the ex-Leicester ace believes he and his team-mates can give Blues fans a bit more to smile about in the years ahead.
Chilwell told Chelsea’s website: “I feel very settled at Chelsea and have really enjoyed my time on the pitch here.
“So I’m very pleased the club want me to be part of the project long-term, and am very happy to sign this extension to my contract.
“We are working hard for success and I will do my best to bring more smiles to the faces of the fans who have made me feel so welcome.”
The Milton-Keynes born defender, who currently has 18 caps for England, will hope to feature tomorrow night as Chelsea travel to Real Madrid for the first leg of their blockbuster Champions League quarter-final.
