There are seven games on the Premier League card this Saturday, with the action kicking off at 12.30pm with Newcastle’s trip to take on Aston Villa.

There are a number of crucial games in the battle to avoid the drop at 3pm, including Crystal Palace’s visit to St Mary’s to face Southampton and Everton’s matchup with Fulham.

Tottenham will be looking to continue their strong home record when they host strugglers Bournemouth at 3pm, while Brentford are aiming to turn around their recent poor form when they visit Wolves at the same time.

Chelsea face Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League clash next week but have to contend with the in-form Brighton first at 3pm.

The day’s top-flight action ends with Manchester City looking to further Leicester’s woes when they host them in the 5.30pm kick-off.

Here are our expert writers’ top selections for each of those fixtures.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Two of the most in-form teams in the Premier League do battle when Newcastle visit Aston Villa in the early kick-off.

Unai Emery’s side have won six of their last seven matches, while the Magpies have been victorious in their last five league games.

Seven of Villa’s last 10 home games have seen over 2.5 goals and the same is fancied in what looks set to be an entertaining clash.

Back over 2.5 goals – available at 19/20 with LiveScore Bet.

Tottenham vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)

Bournemouth have given themselves a chance in the race to avoid the drop with three wins in their last five matches.

However, their away record still leaves plenty to be desired and they face a tough challenge against Tottenham, who are still firmly in the top four race and are solid at home.

The Cherries have scored in three of their last four away games and can do so again in a Spurs victory.

Back Tottenham win and both to score at 17/10 with LiveScore Bet.

Everton vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

Everton have won three of their last five home games without conceding and will be hoping to continue that trend when they host Fulham in a crucial clash in the race to avoid the drop.

Fulham have struggled recently without their talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is suspended, and they have lost three of their last five away matches in the Premier League.

Sean Dyche has turned the Toffees into a solid side on their own patch and they may be able to pick up a critical win without conceding in the relegation battle.

Back Everton Win to Zero at 19/10 with LiveScore Bet.

Southampton vs Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3pm)

Another crucial clash in the relegation battle sees newly reinvigorated Crystal Palace visit Southampton.

Roy Hodgson has steered the Eagles to back-to-back wins in which they have scored seven times and a third victory in a row would put them well on the road to safety.

The same cannot be said for Southampton, who are rooted to the bottom of the table. Both teams have found the net in three of the Saints’ last five matches and has also landed in the two Palace games under Hodgson. This could be an entertaining affair between two sides with plenty to play for.

Back both teams to score – Yes at 17/20 with LiveScore Bet.

Chelsea vs Brighton (Saturday, 3pm)

Chelsea left the Bernabeu with a glimmer of hope after losing the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final 2-0 to Real Madrid on Wednesday but they face a tough test before that as they host high-flying Brighton.

Roberto De Zerbi’s men have been a revelation this season and they will have extra motivation for this clash after suffering on the wrong end of some questionable refereeing decisions in their 2-1 loss to Tottenham last week.

The Blues have not been ones to burst out of the blocks this season, particularly at home, and six of their last eight matches at Stamford Bridge have been level at half-time. Another slow burner looks likely when they host the Seagulls.

Back a drawn first half at 11/10 with LiveScore Bet.

Wolves vs Brentford (Saturday, 3pm)

Brentford have lost back-to-back games for the first time this season after successive defeats against Manchester United and Newcastle, the Bees will be looking to get back on track against Wolves, who beat Chelsea last time out.

Julen Lopetegui’s men remain among the lowest-scorers in the division but have found their scoring touch recently and will be desperate for points as they aim to pull away from the relegation zone.

Both teams have found the net in three of their last four matches and the same looks to be on the cards when they do battle this time around.

Back Both Teams to Score – Yes at 17/20 with LiveScore Bet.

Manchester City v Leicester (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Manchester City produced one of the best performances of the Pep Guardiola era when they beat Bayern Munich 3-0 in the Champions League in midweek and anything near to that form should send shivers down the spine of a struggling Leicester side.

The Foxes may have sacked Brendan Rodgers but have not improved, losing eight of their last nine games in total and are in real danger of being relegated.

The Citizens beat Leicester 6-3 at the Etihad last season and have been victorious in seven of their last nine matches by more than two goals. A repeat of that looks likely given the Foxes’ defensive issues.
