Tottenham’s horizons seem to be narrowing with every poor result and they approach the match against Crystal Palace with a need to get back on track if they are to retain hope of Europa League qualification.

The Eagles triumphed 4-3 at home to West Ham at the weekend and they will be searching for revenge against Spurs, who defeated them 4-0 at Selhurst Park in January.

Hugo Lloris remains a doubt for the hosts after missing the last two matches, while Emerson Royal, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma and Ryan Sessegnon are out.
Oliver Skipp had to come off after taking a kick from Diogo Jota during Sunday’s 4-3 loss at Liverpool, but he will be hopeful of remaining in the starting line-up.
Palace have a doubt over Wilfried Zaha, who was taken off towards the end of Saturday’s 4-3 victory at home to West Ham.

Prediction
Dreadful defending has undermined Tottenham’s push for European qualification and it may prevent them from getting back on track when they take on Palace in north London.
Tottenham can take some positives from their recent fightbacks against Manchester United and Liverpool, when they recovered from two and three-goal deficits, but they are not giving themselves much of a chance due to the way they start games.
Spurs were five goals down after 21 minutes at Newcastle, two behind after 44 minutes at home to United and three adrift after 15 minutes at Anfield.
It is little wonder that they picked up just one point from those three fixtures and their soft underbelly is sure to encourage Palace, who reached the 40-point mark with Saturday’s 4-3 success at home to West Ham.
Under Hodgson, Palace have responded by playing their most exciting, confident football of the season and they look capable of taking at least a point against confidence-shot Spurs.
