Manchester United have two games left to secure their place in next season’s Champions League and they cannot afford to take things easy at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Liverpool’s seven straight wins have left Jurgen Klopp’s side breathing down United’s neck and they need to shake themselves up after consecutive 1-0 defeats on the road at Brighton and West Ham.
For Bournemouth, meanwhile, the hard work has been done as they have ensured they will be playing in the top flight again next season after five wins from their last nine matches, but they will no doubt wish to put on a show for their supporters in their final home game of the campaign.

Bournemouth were hoping that striker Antoine Semenyo would be available after he missed last week’s 2-0 loss at Crystal Palace with a leg injury, but he now looks unlikely to feature before the end of the campaign.
Hamed Traore, Marcus Tavernier, Ryan Fredericks and Junior Stanislas are also set to miss out for the Cherries.
There is better news emerging from the United treatment room as striker Marcus Rashford and midfielder Scott McTominay have returned to training and should be available.
Midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, however, is still ruled out with a knee problem.

This game is more crucial to one side than the other and United have allowed Liverpool to slip into contention for their Champions League spot, so they cannot take their eye off the ball.
Erik ten Hag’s team have failed to score in four of their last six away games, but they should be able to put that right against a Bournemouth side who did not create anything at Crystal Palace last week and could already be on the beach.
The potential return of England forward Rashford should help United do that, but as five of their last seven games have featured fewer than three goals, a smash-and-grab looks more likely than a thriller.
Bournemouth have done what they had to do by beating Southampton, Leeds and Leicester in recent weeks and a last-gasp victory at Tottenham was a bonus.
They may be unable to keep United at bay, but don’t expect the visitors to score a lot of goals.
