Ipswich missed out on a chance to go top of Sky Bet League One after being held to a 1-1 draw at Cheltenham.
They led through Conor Chaplin’s 22nd goal of the season, but Alfie May levelled for the home side late on to ensure honours finished even.
It brought to an end Ipswich’s run of eight wins in a row without conceding and they remain third with six to play.
Cheltenham gave as good as they got during a goalless first half but Marcus Harness was close to opening the scoring for Ipswich, skewing wide in the 19th minute.
May nearly put the home side in front after a run from James Olayinka, but his effort rolled just wide in the 24th minute.
Wes Burns shot straight at Luke Southwood just before half-time and George Hirst crashed a shot against the bar with Southwood beaten in the 59th minute.
The deadlock was broken when Harry Clarke’s long throw-in from the right was not dealt with and Chaplin touched in for his third in three games.
But May followed up after Christian Walton failed to deal with a ball forward from Ryan Broom under pressure from Aidan Keena six minutes from the end.
