Premier League value acca predictions: Villa to boost top-six bid

Aston Villa to beat Tottenham
Brentford to beat West Ham
Arsenal to beat Brighton and BTTS

The end of the Premier League season is drawing ever closer and there are still plenty of crucial matches left as the battle for the title, European positions and survival intensifies.

Arsenal are still doing all they can to hunt down Manchester City and a high-scoring affair at home to Brighton on Sunday forms part of our value treble that comes out at 12/1.

Saturday, 3pm

Bet 1: Aston Villa to beat Tottenham at 5/4

Back-to-back 1-0 defeats at Manchester United and Wolves have stunted Aston Villa’s progress, but they are still in the mix for a top-six finish and know a victory over Tottenham would see them move level with their opponents on 57 points.

Those two losses for the Villans came away from home and they should benefit from a return to Villa Park, a venue they have won their last five at without conceding.

Another shutout looks hard given the scoring form of Spurs, who have netted at least once in their last nine matches, but a victory for the hosts is more than plausible based on the away woes of the visitors.

Ryan Mason’s side are without a win in their last eight away games across all competitions, suffering 6-1 and 4-3 defeats along the way, and that travel sickness could hurt them again this weekend.

Sunday, 2pm

Bet 2: Brentford to beat West Ham at 21/20

With West Ham almost mathematically safe and their main focus now on trying to win the Europa Conference League, it is unlikely they will be busting a gut to try and get three points against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday.

The Hammers have had little time to prepare after beating AZ Alkmaar 2-1 on Thursday night and they will already have their eye on the second leg in the Netherlands four days after this clash against the Bees.

Brentford have lost just one of their last 13 home league matches and this looks like the perfect opportunity for them to add another three points to their tally.

Sunday, 4.30pm

Bet 3: Arsenal to beat Brighton and BTTS at 7/4

Arsenal showed guts in their 2-0 win at Newcastle United last time out and that result has kept them in the title race, as they aim to capitalise on any potential slip-ups from Manchester City.

The Gunners have only lost once at home in the league all season and have scored two goals or more in 14 of their 17 top-flight fixtures at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta’s side welcome a Brighton side still smarting from the 5-1 home loss to Everton and, while the Seagulls should get on the scoresheet, another defeat may be coming their way.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side have won just two of their last seven league games on the road, so three points looks unlikely in North London, but they have scored in all of those matches to highlight their threat in the final third.
