Leeds avoided Premier League relegation after defeating 10-men Brentford 2-1 at the Brentford Community Stadium.
The Whites thought they were ahead inside 20 minutes but Joe Gelhardt’s strike was ruled out by VAR for offside.
But the visitors took the lead nine minutes into the second half when Raphinha dispatched from the penalty spot.
Yet the Bees drew level in the 78th minute as Sergi Canos found space at the back post to head the ball past Illan Meslier.
Canos was booked for his celebration and received a second yellow just two minutes later as Thomas Frank’s side were reduced to 10-men.
Jesse Marsch’s side searched for a winning goal and sealed their safety after a terrific Jack Harrison strike in the 94th minute to send the away end into pandemonium.
