A late Milot Rashica strike saw Norwich defeat League One Charlton 1-0 at The Valley to progress to the FA Cup fourth round.
The Premier League Canaries were outplayed for large portions of the tie, once again struggling to create chances.
Norwich boss Dean Smith made a triple change after a poor first half, which saw his side spring into life.
With 10 minutes left to play, two substitutes linked up as Teemu Pukki broke down the right and squared to Rashica who tapped into an open net.
The hosts nearly equalised in stoppage time, but Ben Purrington’s headed effort struck the bar as Norwich survived the scare to cement their place in the fourth round.
