Everton climbed out of the bottom three after earning a 2-1 victory against Leicester at a sunny King Power Stadium.
The Toffees got off to a great start when Vitaliy Mykolenko netted his first goal for Everton with a stunning volley on the edge of the box after just six minutes.
The Foxes pulled a goal back just five minutes later after Patson Daka wheeled away from the Everton defence to fire the ball past Jordan Pickford in the Everton goal.
But Mason Holgate put the visitors back in-front with a simple header inside the six-yard box after an Everton corner on the half hour mark.
Brendan Rodgers’ side pushed for an equaliser in the scond half but Pickford was in top form as he denied both Nampalys Mendy and Harvey Barnes to maintain all three points for his side.
