Stat Attack: All you need to know about Leicester 4-1 Watford

Reigning champions Leicester eased to a 4-1 victory over Watford in the FA Cup third round at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes were ahead inside 10 minutes when Youri Tielemans dispatched from the penalty spot after Francisco Sierralta pulled Jannik Vestergaard to the ground from a corner.

The hosts then doubled their advantage midway through the first half when James Maddison latched on to Ademola Lookman’s pass and lofted the ball over the onrushing Daniel Bachmann.

The Hornets halved the deficit just two minutes later, as Joao Pedro floated the ball over Danny Ward into the far corner of the net.

Brendan Rodgers’ side then extended their lead when a VAR check deemed Harvey Barnes to have been onside after finishing from another terrific Lookman assist.

Play was then temporarily suspended for a few minutes after the floodlights went out around the ground, with both sets of fans lighting up the stadium with flashlights on their mobile phones.

The game shortly got back underway and Leicester put the game out of sight with Marc Albrighton finishing a rebound after a swift Foxes counter-attack.
