Norwich came from a goal behind to earn a 2-1 victory over Southampton in Dean Smith’s first game in charge.
The Saints took the lead inside five minutes as Che Adams struck the ball into the bottom corner for his second league goal of the season.
However, the hosts were level just three minutes later when Teemu Pukki headed Max Aarons cross past Alex McCarthy.
The Canaries took the lead just 10 minutes from full-time when Hanley headed in from Billy Gilmour’s corner.
The result means that Smith’s side climb from the foot of the table to 19th.
