Fulham completed a dramatic second-half turnaround scoring three goals in just over five minutes to defeat Nottingham Forest.
Taiwo Awoniyi gave the hosts the lead from a first-half corner. Morgan Gibbs-White’s set piece was flicked on by Ryan Yates, and the striker headed the ball home emphatically.
It was Awoniyi’s second goal in his third start for the club, though he has made several appearances off the bench too after joining from Union Berlin in the summer for a fee of £17.5m.
But then came the Fulham onslaught.
Tosin Adarabioyo scored a header of his own, before Palhinha and Harrison Reed piled on the misery for Forest.
Palhinha’s was a brilliant strike, hit first time from outside the area from Kenny Tete’s pass.
Reed’s goal isn’t to be overlooked either, darting to the far post as his side broke, finishing well from Bobby Decordova-Reid’s cross.
Lewis O’Brien pulled one back for Forest but they couldn’t find an equaliser, as Fulham held on for the win in an entertaining game.
“We had a good chat at half-time and to come from behind away from home to win is one of the most satisfying things you can do,” said Fulham defender Tim Ream.
“We didn’t stop and picked it up in the second half and scored three fantastic goals. We take a lot of time and care to make sure we get the set pieces right.
“I thought we saw the game out really well in the last ten minutes.”

This was the fifth consecutive Premier League meeting between two promoted teams to be won by the away side, the longest run in English top-flight history.
Fulham won a Premier League game when trailing at half-time for the first time since April 2009 vs Manchester City, drawing nine times and losing a further 49 in between from such a position.
Nottingham Forest have lost four consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since a run of six losses in August/September 1992.
Fulham’s return of 11 points from seven games is their joint second-best at this stage of a Premier League season after 2003-04, when they had 14 points, ultimately finishing ninth.
After winning eight consecutive home league matches, conceding only twice, Nottingham Forest have since lost three in a row at the City Ground, conceding eight times.
Nottingham Forest have conceded both the most goals from outside the box (6) and the most goals following corners (5) of any side in the Premier League this season.
Taiwo Awoniyi became only the second Nottingham Forest player to score in his first two home starts in the Premier League, after Stan Collymore in August 1994.
