Leicester moved into the top half of the table after thrashing already relegated Watford 5-1 at Vicarage Road.
The Hornets made a brilliant start to the game and took the lead after just six minutes when Joao Pedro’s deflected strike beat Danny Ward.
But the Foxes soon drew level as James Maddison smashed the ball into an empty net following a mix-up between the Watford defence in the 18th minute.
The visitors took the lead just four minutes later when Jamie Vardy headed Maddison’s ball past the on-rushing Ben Foster on the edge of the Watford box.
Brendan Rodgers’ side sprung out of the traps in the second half and doubled their lead in the 46th minute via a stunning volley.
The afternoon went from bad to worse for Roy Hodgson’s side when Vardy finished off a lightening quick counter-attack with a cool finish after 70 minutes.
Barnes then scored his second of the day in the 86th minute with a curled finish into the bottom corner.
