Stat Attack: All you need to know about West Ham 1-0 Watford

Jarrod Bowen’s deflected second-half strike earned West Ham a 1-0 win over relegation-threatened Watford that moves the Hammers into the top four.

The best chance of the first half fell West Ham’s way as Said Benrahma’s initial effort was saved and ricocheted back to his feet, but the winger lashed against the upright from a tight angle instead of squaring to Michail Antonio at the back post.

The Hammers did take the lead in the 68th minute, when Bowen’s low drive from outside the area was deflected past a wrong-footed Ben Foster.

Watford mustered just one shot on target and rarely looked like threatening Lukas Fabianski’s goal, slipping to a defeat that leaves them three points from safety.
