Stat Attack: All you need to know about Wolves 2-3 Leeds

Luke Ayling netted a stoppage-time winner as Leeds came from 2-0 down to defeat 10-men Wolves 3-2 at Molineux.

The hosts took the lead just before the half-hour mark as Jonny converted Francisco Trincao’s pull-back.

Leeds looked down-and-out when Trincao doubled Wolves’ advantage on the stroke of half-time.

Bruno Lage’s men were reduced to 10 men when talisman Raul Jimenez received a red card for his tackle on Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier.

Leeds pounced and netted two goals in three minutes as Jack Harrison and Rodrigo both capitalised on errors from Wolves defenders.

The Whites completed a dramatic comeback in the 91st minute when Ayling hammered the ball into the back of the net from close range.

It is a vital win for the visitors who move seven points clear of Watford in the relegation zone.

Manager Marsch said: “This group is a special group. They’ve been through a lot. They’re positive young men.

“They’ve adapted well, they’ve accepted me well. I couldn’t ask more. It’s been a real pleasure.

“The key for us now is to continue to have a strong mentality and keep pushing because we’re not done.”
