Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his right knee, the club has confirmed.
Tanganga has not played since January following the injury and will now not return to action until the start of the 2022-23 campaign for the north London outfit.
“Japhet Tanganga has undergone surgery on his right knee and will be out for the remainder of the season,” the club confirmed in an official statement.
“The England Under-21 international will undergo a period of recovery and is expected to return to training during the pre-season period.”
