Barcelona are ready to offer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a route out of Arsenal.
The Gunners forward, 32, was stripped of the captaincy yesterday due to disciplinary issues.
Barca are desperate to add a forward to their squad with Sergio Aguero set to retire and have previously explored a move for Aubameyang.
Though his large wages remain an issue, The Independent report the Camp Nou hierarchy would be willing to make concessions for boss Xavi.
And Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta refused to confirm yesterday whether Aubameyang would ever play for the club again.
He said: “The decision we have taken as a club is very clear. It is because we believe he has failed to be committed at the level we all expect and agreed. It is as simple as that.
“What I expect from any person in this football club, that is representing this badge, is passion and that he gives absolutely 100 per cent, that he puts the club in front of any personal interests.
“You can listen to individuals and understand different cultures, but that commitment and passion has to be there. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.”
There are also suggestions Barca may look to manufacture a swap deal that would send Ousmane Dembele to the Emirates.
His contract in Spain is up at the end of the season and the Frenchman’s large wages are not dissimilar to Aubameyang’s.
Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani is another option for the Catalan giants, with the Uruguayan keen to leave Old Trafford.
Wolves youngster attracting interest
Wolves may face a battle to keep hold of full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri with Europe’s big clubs circling.
The 20-year-old has continued to impress at Molineux after making his move from Angers permanent during the summer.
Now he is attracting interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham, as well as Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona on the continent.
And The Mail report Wolves would have to give half of any fee received to his former club.
Ligue 1 side Angers insisted a 50% sell-on clause was inserted into the deal they agreed with the Midlands club.
