Transfer Talk: Bayern eye shock Kane move

Bayern Munich want to replace Robert Lewandowski with Harry Kane if their Polish marksman leaves.

Lewandowski, 33, is keen to end his time in Munich this summer after 344 goals in 375 games for the club.

Barcelona are interesting in signing him, while both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on his future.

Now German champions Bayern are plotting an ambitious move for Tottenham star Kane.

Kicker say that any move for the 28-year-old will be extremely difficult given the amount it would cost.

But that may not stop the Bavarians trying as they seek to win a 11th consecutive Bundesliga title next term.

They will also be desperate to improve on last season’s shock Champions League quarter-final exit to Villarreal.

Kane was interested in a move to Manchester City last year but the Premier League champions failed to match Spurs’ asking price.

The England captain would like to challenge for trophies and silverware would certainly be on the agenda at the Allianz Arena.

But Spurs have qualified for the Champions League and with Antonio Conte being backed in the transfer market, Kane may feel success is on the horizon in North London this season.
