Transfer Talk: Chelsea crisis opens door for Juve to poach Pulisic

Juventus are considering moves for four Chelsea stars this summer after UK Government sanctions created uncertainty at Stamford Bridge.

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich joined the list of wealthy individuals to have their UK assets frozen over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine yesterday, meaning the Blues are currently unable to renew contracts.

And ESPN claim Juve are ready to take advantage with United States star Christian Pulisic, 23, top of their shopping list.

The report adds that Antonio Rudiger, whose contract runs out at the end of the season, Jorginho and Hakim Ziyech are also being monitored by the Old Lady.

Chelsea responded to the Government’s decision by insisting they would ask for some of the sanctions to be reviewed to allow them to operate “as normal as possible”.

But the ongoing crisis will see rivals looking to take advantage in the upcoming window.

The West Londoners have a number of players out of contract in the summer, including first-team stars Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta.

And Jamie Carragher has told The Telegraph that Manchester United should use the situation to prise Thomas Tuchel away from the Stamford Bridge dugout.
