Arsenal are working on a deal to bring versatile Manchester City left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko to the Emirates.
The Ukraine international has been linked with a move away from the Premier League champions this summer as he seeks first-team football.
And Pep Guardiola is open to selling the 25-year-old if his valuation is met, according to the Athletic.
Zinchenko would link up with former City assistant Mikel Arteta should he make the switch, just like former team-mate Gabriel Jesus.
Left-back is an area the Spaniard is looking to strengthen and the 52-cap international’s ability to feature in midfield makes him an attractive option.
Zinchenko has enjoyed huge success with the Citizens, winning four Premier League titles as well as five other major trophies.
Should a move for the City man fail to materialise, Arsenal have also looked at signing Spanish left-back Sergio Gomez from Anderlecht, according to Fabrizio Romano.
If either Zinchenko or Gomez arrive in North London, it will likely see Nuno Tavares depart on loan with Marseille among the interested parties.
Football London say talks are ongoing between Arsenal and Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans’ representatives over a summer switch.
And Lyon’s Lucas Pacqueta is another option being looked at in central midfield, according to reports in France.
