Liverpool will have to pay £68million if they want to snap up Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
The Reds have been linked with a move for the winger as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his squad.
But the Brazilian would not come cheap with Los Blancos wanting more than the £39.3m they paid Santos for him back in 2019.
Rodrygo, 20, has scored twice in 19 games in all competitions this campaign, mainly coming off the bench for the LaLiga leaders.
El Nacional do not believe that would put the Reds off and it is known that Klopp wants another winger at Anfield.
They have also been tipped to move for Leeds’ Brazilian star Raphinha, who netted in the Whites’ 3-2 defeat at Chelsea yesterday.
That was his seventh goal of the campaign, already two more than he managed last term, and Liverpool Echo say the Reds have continued to scout the impressive 24-year-old.
But they would be unlikely to make a move in January, preferring to wait until the summer to test the waters with a bid.
Porto winger Lucas Diaz is the other winger regularly linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks.
Portuguese outlet Record say the club’s early exit from the Champions League will have big financial implications and may force them to cash in on some of their brightest stars.
