Transfer Talk: Scudetto stars who could leave Napoli this summer

Napoli can secure the Serie A title with a point at Udinese tonight and plenty of their top stars are sure to be of interest this summer.

The Partenopei have enjoyed a superb season and a first Scudetto for 33 years is edging closer after racing clear at the summit.

Ahead of potentially clinching the title this evening, we pick out four names who could soon be on the move.

Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen will be one of Europe’s hottest properties this summer after scoring a sensational 26 goals in 33 appearances this campaign.

The Nigerian striker has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea as well as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich but Napoli’s hefty price tag may prove a potential stumbling block.

Those clubs could be reluctant to meet his reported £100million valuation but with few enjoying better goalscoring seasons than the 24-year-old, it may be money well spent.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Another attacking star who will not be short of suitors is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with Manchester City and Liverpool among a long list of interested parties.

The Georgian winger — nicknamed Kvaradona by the Napoli faithful — has been a revelation since arriving in Naples last summer from his homeland.

A price tag upwards of £100m is now being talked about for the pacy, skilful and clinical forward after 14 goals and 14 assists across 37 Serie A and Champions League appearances.

Minjae Kim

Minjae Kim has marshalled things expertly at the back and a switch to Liverpool, Man City or Man Utd could now be in the offing.

Napoli have conceded a league-low 22 goals this campaign and having started 31 of their 32 games, much of that has been down to their South Korean defender.

Kim, 26, signed a new contract with Luciano Spalletti’s men last summer but Premier League clubs are unlikely to be put off by a potentially substantial fee.

Alex Meret

Goalkeeper Alex Meret has been named as a potential solution to Tottenham’s issues between the sticks.

Spurs are on the hunt for a successor to veteran captain Hugo Lloris and Italian stopper Meret has emerged as a prime target alongside the likes of Jordan Pickford and David Raya.

The 26-year-old has 19 clean sheets in all competitions this term but whether he wants to give up Champions League football to make the switch to North London remains to be seen.
