Memphis Depay is set to leave Barcelona after just one season — and Tottenham are reportedly leading the race to sign the Dutchman.
Depay, 28, arrived at the Camp Nou on a free transfer last summer after leaving French side Lyon.
Signed by Ronald Koeman, the forward has managed 10 goals in 29 appearances during his debut campaign for the Blaugrana but has not started in LaLiga since December.
New boss Xavi brought in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ferran Torres and Adama Traore to bolster his attack in January, pushing Depay down the pecking order.
What is more, the revival of winger Ousmane Dembele under the Spanish boss has further called Depay’s place into question.
News of his potential departure has piqued the interest of Tottenham, who Mundo Deportivo say are leading the race for his signature.
It is indicated that Spurs have already made an offer for the ex-Manchester United attacker, who is being tracked by a number of other Premier League clubs.
And while Depay would prefer to stay and earn back his place at Barca, he is open to looking at his options.
Mundo Deportivo’s report claims Serie A quartet AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli are also interested in the 76-cap international.
