Tottenham will look to LaLiga to bolster their defensive options with moves for Barcelona’s Clement Lenglet and Villarreal’s Pervis Estupinan on the cards.
Antonio Conte is poised to add Everton forward Richarlison to his list of summer signings in the coming days, having already lured Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster to North London.
Strengthening at the back will be the next port of call, with Sky Sports reporting that talks over a loan deal for France international Lenglet are already under way.
The 27-year-old is out of favour at Camp Nou and the Spurs boss is keen to add a left-footed option to his back three.
It is suggested that a deal looks likely, though the centre-back is not the Italian coach’s only defensive target this summer.
Goal report that alongside Lenglet, Spurs would also like to sign Ecuador international Estupinan from Villarreal.
Another left-sided player, the 24-year-old would provide crucial cover in the wing-back position.
Estupinan is a key part of the Yellow Submarine’s current setup and played 10 games during their impressive run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.
And more centre-backs could yet follow, with Sky’s report also identifying Villarreal’s Pau Torres, Inter Milan’s Alessandro Bastoni and RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol as targets.
