Transfer Talk: United eye double swoop for Napoli duo Kim and Osimhen

Manchester United have agreed to sign Napoli defender Minjae Kim and are in talks over a deal for striker Victor Osimhen, according to The Mirror.

South Korea international Kim has enjoyed a superb campaign for the Partenopei after signing from Fenerbahce last summer, winning the Scudetto in his first season.

A switch to the Premier League has been heavily touted, with Liverpool another club to be tracking the 26-year-old.

But it appears as though he will be heading to Old Trafford, with the Red Devils reportedly ready to activate a £43million release clause after convincing the centre-back to make the switch.

It is also indicated that talks between the two talks for Kim are running alongside discussions to sign highly-coveted striker Osimhen.

The Nigerian frontman, who tops the Serie A scoring charts with 23 goals for the champions, is believed to be top of United’s wanted list in the No9 department.

Napoli-based outlet Il Mattino say the Red Devils are frontrunners for the Super Eagles star’s signature, with talks accelerating due to interest from elsewhere.

Erik ten Hag’s men will face competition from Chelsea, with The Guardian claiming the 24-year-old is part of incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino’s summer rebuild plans.
