After an action-packed weekend of football, some of Europe’s biggest leagues still have fixtures to offer with plenty at stake on Monday.
The Championship title could be claimed at Craven Cottage, while matches in the Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A have European qualification and relegation implications.
We take a look at some of the best bets as the season nears its conclusion across the continent.
Fulham vs Luton – draw
Fulham can win the Championship title on Monday night but they will not have it all their own way when they welcome Luton to Craven Cottage.
The Cottagers are five points clear of second-placed Bournemouth with two games remaining and the Hatters still have work to do if they are to secure a play-off spot.
Nathan Jones’ men are fifth but Middlesbrough and Millwall, in seventh and eighth respectively, could still sneak into the top six if Nathan Jones’s men slip up over the next two games.
Fulham have gone off the boil of late, having won just one and losing three of their last five games, while Luton are unbeaten in three.
And the Hatters could leave West London with a share of the spoils, having drawn the reverse fixture 1-1 in December.
Getafe vs Real Betis – draw
Two teams at opposite ends of La Liga clash at the Coliseum Alonso Perez as Getafe host Real Betis.
Betis, who recently won the Copa del Rey, can still finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League — but they need fourth-placed Atletico Madrid to drop points.
Betis have played a game less than Atletico and a win on Monday would still leave them one point behind Diego Simeone’s side.
Getafe have work to do to secure their survival as they can still mathematically go down, although they do have some breathing room with a four-point cushion to 18th-placed Granada.
Betis have only lost four away matches all season in the league.
But with Getafe’s home form almost as strong, there is every chance these two could cancel each other out in a low-scoring draw.
Atalanta vs Salernitana – home win
Salernitana are fighting for their lives in Serie A and they will look for a fourth straight victory when they travel to Bergamo to take on Atalanta.
La Dea, who have won only four home games in Serie A all season, have lost three of their last five matches and they are in danger of missing out on a spot in the Europa League.
However, a win for Piero Gasperini’s side means they will move back into the top seven and they will feel they have too much quality for the visitors.
Salernitana coach David Nicola will be without Joel Obi, Mamadou Coulibaly, Lys Mousset, Ivan Radovanovic and Vincenzo Fiorillo — and their absences could be a decisive factor.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt – home win
Eintracht Frankfurt recorded a 2-1 win over West Ham on Thursday in the Europa League — but that could give Bayer Leverkusen the upper hand when they collide.
Leverkusen will look to confirm European football with a victory and will hope Frankfurt are distracted by their continuing European exploits, particularly as they hold the advantage going into the second leg of their semi-final.
Frankfurt’s domestic form has dipped of late with just two wins in 10 matches and it seems all their eggs are firmly in the Europa League basket.
The visitors need to keep their best players fresh for the return leg against West Ham and Leverkusen should wrap up all three points without too much trouble.
