Wales international Aaron Ramsey has signed for Nice, after leaving Juventus last month.
The 31-year-old midfielder was available on a free transfer, following the mutual termination of his contract with the Turin giants — and the Eagles have swooped to secure his signature.
Ramsey endured an injury-plagued three seasons in Piedmont, making just 49 Serie A appearances before being loaned to Rangers in January.
But his time in Glasgow ended in heartbreak, when he missed the decisive penalty in last season’s Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt.
He will now look to hit peak form and fitness on the French Riviera, ahead of this winter’s World Cup in Qatar.
