– Recommended bets:
– Back RB Leipzig to beat Bayer Leverkusen
– Back Luton to beat Sunderland

– Back Freiburg to beat Schalke
Included in this week’s football acca are five odds-on teams from as far afield as Germany, Spain and Bedfordshire, paying out at just over 18/1.
Recommended fivefold: RB Leipzig, Luton, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Freiburg all to win at 18/1.

Bet 1: Back RB Leipzig to beat Bayer Leverkusen at 3/4
RB Leipzig’s Champions League home win over Real Madrid in midweek demonstrated how dangerous they can be when their stars are fit and firing.
Strikers Christopher Nkunku and Timo Werner were both on the scoresheet in the 3-2 win with Mohamed Simakan catching the eye when roving forward too.
Marco Rose’s side are unbeaten in eight with six wins and two draws and ooze the sort of confidence Saturday’s opponents Leverkusen would love to recapture.
Die Werkself are way off the pace in the race to qualify for the Champions League again next year and sit just above the relegation zone after winning only one of their last seven Bundesliga games — against rock-bottom Schalke.
Xabi Alonso’s men have lost six of their last eight away games, a run which began with an embarrassing 4-3 cup defeat at third-tier Elversberg, and cannot be trusted to turn the tide at Red Bull Arena.

Bet 2: Back Luton to beat Sunderland at 19/20
Luton boss Nathan Jones will expect to see a reaction to the Hatters’ 4-0 loss to rivals Watford when he sends his team out to face a defensively suspect Sunderland at Kenilworth Road.
The Black Cats were two goals up after 45 minutes of their home game with Burnley last week, but fell apart after the break to lose 4-2.
Tony Mowbray’s outfit, the only team in the Championship still yet to score from a set piece, are weak at defending corners and free-kicks too, which could be a major problem against one of the most direct sides in the division.
Luton do not lack firepower, having notched ten goals in their last four home games and can prevail against a team that has lost three of their last five away league contests, conceding two goals in each of their last three.
Saturday, 3.15pm
Bet 3: Back at Atletico Madrid to beat Cadiz at 4/7
Cadiz have lost three of their six home games and were thrashed 5-1 by Rayo Vallecano in their most recent LaLiga outing.
Atletico will want to put their Champions League dismay behind them quickly here and, having won five of their six away games in the league and four of their last five La Liga games overall, should come through for Diego Simeone.
Saturday, 5.30pm
Bet 4: Back Sevilla to beat Rayo Vallecano at 19/20
Since Jorge Sampaoli returned for a second spell in charge, Sevilla have only lost to Real Madrid and had their chances when the score was 1-1 at Estadio Bernabeu.
Rojiblancos’ rejuvenation under the Argentine coach now looks complete after their 3-0 dismantling of Copenhagen in midweek and that can see off a Rayo Vallecano side have taken just one point from their last four away league games.
Sunday, 4.30pm
Bet 5: Back Freiburg to beat Schalke at 17/20
Schalke are in the sort of mess you do not see too much of in Germany where the clubs are generally perceived to be well-run, forward-thinking entities with sensible plans.
Die Konigsblauen go into this Sunday’s clash with in-form Freiburg without a coach or a sporting director to appoint the next one after Rouven Schroder left his position on Wednesday.
After a run of five straight defeats — three of them by three goals or more — it would take quite some turnaround for Schalke to avoid being beaten by Freiburg, who have won 12 of their 18 games in all competitions this term.
The visitors won their first three away league games of the season before stalling a little — although losing 5-0 at Bayern Munich last time should have little bearing on their result in Gelsenkirchen.
