In the first of a brand new column here on LiveScore, we have got a mix of Scottish, Spanish and Dutch selections for your weekend acca — alongside one improving side from the Championship.
Four are at home this weekend, but the away pick has won all of their domestic road games so far and the acca returns more than 15/1.
Saturday 12.30pm
Swansea (5/6) to beat Hull (16/5), Draw (13/5)
The Swans can get this acca off to a flying start on Saturday when they host troubled Hull in the Championship.
It is an early game between two teams that have been struggling to score goals recently, so it is unlikely to be a classic.
But Swansea are improving as a defensive unit and were seconds away from keeping a second straight home clean sheet on Tuesday when leaders Sheffield United broke away to score the only goal of a 1-0 win.
The Tigers were toothless again at home to Stoke in midweek and will arrive in South Wales having suffered four defeats in their last five league games.
Prediction: Swansea to win (5/6)
Saturday 3pm
Livingston (evens) to beat Kilmarnock (3/1), Draw (12/5)
Livingston will look to make it three straight home league victories when they face struggling Kilmarnock at the Tony Macaroni Arena.
Killie have not enjoyed the taste of victory much of late, having won just one of their last six games to slip into 11th spot in the Scottish Premiership table.
And they will have to face the Lions without their influential defender Ash Taylor, who is still serving a suspension because of last weekend’s postponements.
Prediction: Livingston to win (evens)
Sunday 1pm
Osasuna (4/5) to beat Getafe (4/1), Draw (9/4)
Osasuna occupy a healthy fourth place in LaLiga right now and should consolidate their position in the Champions League berths by beating third-bottom Getafe in Sunday’s early Spanish kick-off.
Jagoba Arrasate’s side created seven clear scoring chances in Monday’s 1-0 win over newly-promoted Almeria, but have had no efficiency issues at El Sadar where they have scored exactly two goals in each of their three home league wins.
The hosts should be at full strength for this game with defender Ruben Pena having now recovered from muscle problems and exciting midfielder Aimar Oroz, who has just been called up for Spain’s Under-21 side, over an ankle issue.
Getafe’s only league win this term came last week against an injury-hit Real Sociedad that were probably shattered from their exertions at Old Trafford a few days before.
Prediction: Osasuna to win (4/5)
Sunday 3.45pm
Ajax (5/8) to win at AZ Alkmaar (18/5), Draw (3/1)
Ajax return from giving Liverpool a rare scare at Anfield to take on AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie — a competition they continue to dominate despite the vast turnover of players this past summer.
The Amsterdammers are a perfect six from six in the Dutch league so far, scoring 21 goals in the process and should take advantage of absences and tiredness in the smaller AZ squad.
The hosts’ 25-goal top scorer from last season, Vangelis Pavlidis, is ruled out due to a leg injury, while Sweden international Jesper Karlsson has been missing matches with muscle problems of late.
Experienced centre-back Bruno Martins Indi remains sidelined because of a knee problem, leaving coach Pascal Jansen with limited options to refresh his team after Thursday’s Europa Conference League clash with Vaduz — played 48 hours after Ajax’s match on Merseyside.
Prediction: Ajax to win (5/8)
Sunday 5.30pm
Real Betis (7/10) to beat Girona (4/1), Draw (13/5)
Finally, we head back to Spain for the last leg of this weekend’s acca where Real Betis’ home match with Girona has been put back to a later start because of the heat.
Los Verdiblancos have made a hot start to the league campaign too, winning four of their first five fixtures.
Their only defeat so far was to champions and Champions League holders Real Madrid at the Bernabeu earlier this month, returning to winning ways in LaLiga at home to Villarreal while also winning twice in the Europa League.
Girona got a 2-1 home win against Real Valladolid last weekend, but they are a young side without missing key men Yangel Herrera and Cristhian Stuani.
They needed a stoppage-time penalty to rescue a point at Mallorca and lost 1-0 away to Valencia in August, so should come unstuck against in-form Betis.
Prediction: Real Betis to win (7/10)
Five teams for your weekend acca: Swansea, Livingston, Osasuna, Ajax and Real Betis all to win
