West Ham 3-1 FC FCSB: Hammers complete second-half comeback

West Ham United came back from a losing position to win 3-1 in their first Europa Conference League game against Romanian side FC FCSB, with Jarred Bowen, Emerson Palmier and Micheal Antonio all scoring in the second-half.

In the 35th minute, FCSB stunned the hosts with a nicely-worked move down the left-hand side; Darius Olaru put a splendid ball across the box which Andrei Cordea converted.

However, in the second-half, West Ham turned on the style and equalised through a Bowen penalty. Emerson’s strike in the 75th minute put them in front, and then Antonio’s 90th minute goal made sure the three points stayed in East London.
